How a TikTok post taught me something and changed my life forever.

The other day I was scrolling through my TikTok for you page, where I came across a TikTok video where a lady shared a post of how she healed from a very bad breakup. Now breakups can really be depressing and one of the worst things someone can go through. There are a lucky few who have never had to experience it but these days it is quite to hear of one.

I do not want to share her name but since I love the name Amanda, let's just call her Amanda. If you happen to be called Amanda and your story is related do not be offended and stay tuned, you can a few things from your friend Amanda. This story is based on other people's experiences, no research has been done and it is not intended to take the place of medical help, please do seek medical assistance if you feel depressed or are going through bad situation.

When Amanda was faced with a nasty breakup, she was really depressed and didn't know what to do to cope with the pain. Emotional pain is worse than physical pain, because nobody sees how much your heart is bleeding, there is no medicine for a broken heart, there is no medicine for shame and humiliation. Unless you tell someone a story, nobody knows.  You know how you can feel powerless, defeated, worthless and you just feel like the worst failure in the world.

Then after going through all those feelings, Amanda remembered she has always wanted to get a college degree and has been failing to do so for some time. She looked for a university, went into her favorite program and went on to graduate not only with one degree but two.  When she shared her story on TikTok a lot of women shared there their story of how they went on to get University degrees and ended more healed, empowered and with a lot of value even after going through the worst.

It is not only when you are feeling low that you have to go for that course you have always wanted, there are a lot of motivating factors, but learning a new skill is always exciting, and who knows it maybe that skill that ends up giving you the life of your dreams and retiring you early.

Here is my conclusion, whatever you are going through do not stop learning, keep learning, keep learning. Instead of just checking out Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and all other social media things it is a good idea to start learning a new skill. I would like to hear your thoughts about this topic, please comment and share. I will be glad to hear from you.
